Tasks & responsibilities

• Assembly of aluminium and/or steel roller shutters - ie making the curtains, the pelmets, frames, tracks and various componentry including axles, manual controls and electric motorisation. Experience preferred however all training will be provided.

• Preparing orders for further fabrication ie assembling and packaging of raw stock items as directed for delivery to relevant suppliers eg powdercoaters etc.

• Packing of finished products for delivery to customers - locally and overseas.

• Receipt of incoming goods, checking the packing lists and storing away the items. Also include stocktake and the unloading of local and overseas containers.

• General upkeep and maintenance of the factory work area ie keeping it clean and safe.
