Our basic standard roller shutter

The Original Blockout Roller Shutter is our basic standard external shutter. The shutter profile is manufactured from roll formed aluminium with a polyurethane foam core and a standard 53 mm track. Designed with high-level insulation properties, it is ideal for:

• Reducing heat gain in summer 

• Preventing heat loss in winter 

• Minimising noise 

• Reducing light and glare. 

 

Exclusive features

The Original Blockout Roller Shutter features exclusive interlocking slats and optional dual locking system; providing you with security while allowing filtered light and ventilation.

Insulation benefits

As Original Blockout Roller Shutters are fitted externally, they act as a thermal barrier, creating an insulating air pocket between the shutter and the window. They can reduce or eliminate the effects of streetlights, headlights, sunlight or annoying glare. Plus they can reduce heat gain by up to 90% in summer and reduce heat loss by up to 70% in winter.
